About us

We are a team of people working for you and for ourselves. Lovers of nature, adventure and contact with people. Each one of us has our own personality and style, some are very nannies, others are more into rock & roll with the younger ones or groups of friends, but we all have in common the way we treat our clients. Caring for you with attention, patience and cordiality is our common denominator.

We like to laugh, joke and get serious depending on the moment. There is plenty of space in all activities, especially in the rafting for all dynamics.

Committed to the environment, we use ecological cleaning products for the material, we minimise the environmental impact during the descents and we make people aware during the descents of the impact of human beings on rivers, canyons, lakes… Whether due to misuse, climate change… We do this not only to take care of our working environment, but above all because without the nature that surrounds us in the Pyrenees we would not be able to live the way we want to.

Our history

Kayak Campo was born in 2009 from the desire to promote a different way of life, through the river, travel, contact with nature and to create a warm meeting point where kayakers, artists, travellers and adventurers can share their experiences.

Kayak Campo started as a small shop, club and kayak school, where to teach and promote the practice of whitewater kayaking and the care of nature. Today the programme of activities has evolved and grown, as has our family.

And we want to continue discovering, learning and dreaming day by day and give the possibility to more people to join us on this path and make adventure a way of life.

Thank you to all of you who are with us, in our dream!

Our staff

Guides in action

We have guides and kayakers with more than 10 years of experience.
They are all qualified professionals chosen for their dynamic personalities and life perspectives. Each instructor brings his own teaching style and extensive knowledge of the sport. Each guide has the technique and ability to spread fun on the river and at the same time provide the safety that each situation requires.

Behind the curtain

The operations team is the backbone of Kayak Campo. The offices with the pleasant voices on the phone and the friendly faces that greet you on arrival. They coordinate the programmes and answer any questions you may have.
The logistics staff make the activity run smoothly and the photographers keep a magical souvenir for you. We all work to ensure that your experience with Kayak Campo is as you have imagined it to be.

Esera River Ara River

The river Ésera is a Pyrenean river, fed by the Aneto glacier and the high rainfall between Benasque and Eriste.

It rises in the Maladeta massif, at an altitude of 2,500 metres, in the Posets Malaldeta Natural Park.

Downstream, the course of the river is retained in Lake Barasona, in Graus, until it flows into the River Cinca.
Its journey through Campo, where our headquarters are located, is a classic for kayaking and rafting, with rapids, hot water pools in the summer and the great “Piramides” canyon!

The river Ara is not only a magnificent mountain river with incomparable landscapes, but above all a symbol of purity and freedom. It is the last wild river in the Pyrenees, the only one that maintains its 70 km without being split by any dam, the only one that is still a river.

It rises on the slopes of the Vignemale and runs through a valley carved out by the ice: the Ordesa valley.

Its upper basin is located on the borders of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park and its mouth flows into the river Cinca at the height of the town of Aínsa. As for rafting and kayaking, it is a river for beginners and experts, from Torla to Fiscal.
